Nominated for 5 awards. "Innovation in New Media Effects", "Innovation in Documentary Form", "Innovation in Form/Structure", "Innovation in Script/Concept", "Innovation in .......". We never expected so many nominations and can't really understand how we got so many [esp. the doco one] but things have a strange way of panning out. we initally started this video to enter into Revelation last year but missed the deadline, we didn't enter it this year because we didn't think we had a chance but it ended up making it anyway.

The Centre for Popular Education has organized an Activist Short Film Night as part of the "Education and Social Action" International Conference in Sydney on 6th & 7th December. JENIFA is showing on the first night of Agitprop work followed by a 60 minutes panel discussion with audience participation about the use of film as a medium for learning and change at grassroots level. also screening that night will be an older short film by Richard Eames CRUSADERS OF THE CORPORATE ARK [2002].

The writer is dead... a performance by 3 of perth's most exciting avant garde poets featuring spoken word rants and porno-jam slide shows. tomas ford's cabaret of death, gabrielle everall, and miteyKo's anitpoet & kevin gillam star in this Artrage event. after the werdz JENIFA & VIOLENT BLUE LIGHT GHOSTS will be screened followed by improvised laptop noise battery! at $5 a head it's bargin fun even yr grandmother would enjoy!!!

Finally after about a month RAGE is to air JENIFA to the nation! it's on late, in that time slot reserved for all Australian indy music, after all the corporate rubbish... 3am! see the playlist. this may be the only time RAGE airs the clip since to get screened more than once is an achievement, so please now is the time to keep requesting!!! and thanks to those who have been requesting, much apperciated!

Muddy Shorts is a film competition run by the Murdoch University Student Guild. our music video JENIFA will screen with a bunch of other fine works from local & possibly national filmmakers. this year's Muddy Shorts is screening as part of the ArtRage festival which is running in Perth throughout the month of October.

A video launch & benefit gig rolled into one. miteyko release a new cd while raising funds for the perth indymedia collective. the cd features miteyko's favourite tracks from their previous 3 cd's including the "jenifa" music video. great music for a great cause with a screening of VIOLENT BLUE LIGHT GHOSTS thrown in for good measure!!!
